Hi there everybody and welcome to KSL Golf presented by Siegfried & Jensen.

We're at the Hubbard Golf Course at Hill Air Force Base. This Saturday is the Hill Air Force Base amateur. This is pretty much civilians only chance to play here at Hill as you have to be a member of the military or get invited by someone in the military to play here, so golfers take advantage of this tournament as it's a rare chance to play one of the best courses in the state.

This week's show includes:

  • Whittingham vs. Wells: It's time to begin another KSL Cup Celebrity Challenge. Today, 2 players that know all about pressure and who are as competitive as anybody in the state - Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham, 9 years as head coach, 76 wins, 39 losses - and Utah State head football coach Matt Wells, who in his first year as boss of the Aggies, finished 9 and 5 with a bowl win over Northern Illinois The Utes and Aggies don't meet on the football field this upcoming season, so this will have to be the rivalry game. First 2 holes today, the final hole next Sunday.
  • Putt for Cash: Time once again to try to give away some money in the Siegfried & Jensen Putt for cash. Each week, one person will have a choice of a 10 footer for 1000 dollars, 20 footer for 2000 or a 30 footer for 3000 bucks. And they will get 2 putts at it. This week's putter, Travis Reynolds of Utah County.
  • Uinta Golf Tip of the Week: Our question comes from Zach Phillips of Logan and Zach is having a problem when the ball is above his feet, he tends to chunk the shot and needs some help to fix it. Thanksgiving Point Director of Golf Mark Whetzel joins us with some help.
