SALT LAKE COUNTY — Two Taylorsville men are dead after their car rolled on I-80 early Monday morning.
Highway Patrol officers responded to a call around 3:30 a.m that a 2006 Scion had rolled while heading east on I-80, eight miles east of Tooele County.
Firefighters had to extricate both occupants from the car. The passenger of the vehicle, Andrew J. Harrie, 30, died at the scene.
The driver, Spencer W. Gardner, 28, died while being transported to Intermountain Medical Center.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
