HOME SWEET HOME — The Internet and the world may always be in an argument about whether cats or dogs are the superior pets.
In my experience, both make swell pets, and there are pros and cons to owning each. It’s more about ignoring stereotypes and meshing the personality of owner and pet for a mutually beneficial relationship.
That being said, in this edition of understanding cats, we will battle the stereotype that cats are so independent that they are always aloof and never happy to see you.
One of the pros of cats is that you can leave them home alone for a few days at a time with enough food and water in the bowl and a clean box of litter and they will take care of and entertain themselves.
However, that doesn’t mean that they don’t miss you. And this cat, adorably named Moo, proves the point vocally and delightfully. You can hear Moo loudly mewing before she comes into sight and rushes down the stairs to gleefully greet her owner.
For the nonbelievers: The video description says that even though the owner was gone for three days, the cat had plenty of food left. So Moo’s loud, plaintive meows are indeed a warm greeting for her returning owner and not a plea for food.
If you like what you see here or need to be assured that Moo is fiercely loved, you can follow Moo on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
