It was announced Monday that former Weber State star Damian Lillard had landed a new eight-year endorsement deal with Adidas.

According to ESPN.com, the deal could be worth up to $100 million over 10 years.

If true, that would give him the third most lucrative shoe contract in the NBA behind Derrick Rose and LeBron James.

Now that the deal is done, Adidas didn’t waste any time releasing an advertisement featuring Lillard, and he has a little help from Utah Jazz legend and NBA Hall of Famer Karl Malone.

Lillard can’t seem to keep his foot out of his mouth in the spot when he is caught saying “the last thing I want to be is one of those guys that never won a ring” in front of mixed company.

The commercial also features Barry Sanders, LaDanian Tomlinson and Chris Webber.

Malone is the final victim of Lillard’s unintentional insult while holding a plate full of hamburgers. An upset Malone announces the burgers are ready as he sadly walks out of the room. Barry Sanders’ plea to come back into the room doesn’t seem to make Karl feel any better.

You can watch the Adidas/Foot Locker commercial above.
