MURRAY — Police say two men broke into an electronics store early Monday and took tens of thousands of dollars' worth of computer equipment.

About 5:30 a.m., an alarm company received an automatic alert from Best Buy, 5181 S. State. A company employee went to check it out and found a backdoor that appeared to have been forced open with a crowbar-type tool, said Murray Police Sgt. Paul Christiansen.

Investigators soon discovered an estimated $24,000 in laptops and computer screens had been stolen, Christiansen said.

Surveillance video shows two men dressed in all black, with their faces covered, breaking into the building, he said.

Anyone with information on the break-in can call police at 801-840-4000.
