SALT LAKE CITY — The college basketball season has come and gone, with each of the local teams having its individual successes. While there were several standout players, there can only be one who can win each award.
The KSL sports team nominated players from each school and give you, the sports fan, the opportunity to determine the actual winners. The voting was from Friday through Sunday, and have now been tallied.
Although BYU athletes took an early lead after Friday's voting, other school athletes started to take over through Sunday. As a result, what appeared to be a sure bet for BYU's Tyler Haws as the state's Most Valuable Player on Friday was changed by the end of the voting period.
