SALT LAKE CITY — The Globecandy travel blog would like to inspire people to get out into nature, and give Nordic winter sports a try.
They have partnered with Sundance Resort who is generously offering a discounted event for women in the community. This is a great opportunity to escape into the beautiful outdoors and enjoy being active.
Globecandy is hosting a Women’s Nordic Day at Sundance on Saturday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Choose the option of snow shoeing, classic skiing or skate skiing. The Sundance Nordic center is offering friends of Globecandy the following discount on all packages:
- Instruction Clinic, Rental, and Trail Pass: $30
- Rental and Trail Pass: $20
- Trail Pass: $10
Be sure to reserve your spot before they are all taken. If you are a first-time Nordic skier, or desire further Nordic technique knowledge, instruction clinics will be held at both 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The clinics will be held in a group setting with help from multiple instructors. If you're new to the sport, or just wondering if you're doing it right, this is a great opportunity to have your questions answered by experts, and receive hands-on demonstrations regarding proper technique, and proper equipment use.
The Sundance Nordic Center offers 15 kilometers of immaculately groomed trails for nordic skiers and skaters to explore. Snowshoers can enjoy 10 kilometers of trails winding through beautiful terrain. To learn more check out the Nordic Center's Trail Map.
