MOAB, Grand County — A dive team in Grand County is searching the Colorado River for a stolen dinosaur track.
The dinosaur track was stolen three weeks ago from the Hell's Revenge trail in Moab. The thief cut the track out of the ground in order to steal it.
The search is being conducted near the Dewey Bridge off highway 128 northeast of Moab.
In a press release, the Grand County Sheriff's Office said they have identified the suspect. However, the name of the suspect has not been released.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Business owners and residents in Moab have pooled together money and have raised about $7,000 as reward for information leading to the recovery of the dinosaur track.
