PARK CITY — A Summit County man was arrested early Sunday after colliding with two vehicles while intoxicated and attempting to flee, police said.

Witnesses reported seeing a man in a white Audi sedan drive off after colliding with a taxi in Park City. Police began pursuing the vehicle about 2 a.m. as it headed north on Park Avenue. Officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver continued at about 15 mph, hitting the curb several times, Park City Police Capt. Phil Kirk said.

The vehicle eventually collided with a marked police vehicle and was stopped soon afterward, he said.

The driver was "extremely intoxicated" and combative with police, Kirk said, and various drugs were found in the vehicle.

Chance Wilson, 21, was arrested for investigation of assault, fleeing from police, DUI, hit and run and drug possession.
