PRICE — A man who allegedly robbed a Smith's grocery store at gunpoint was arrested Friday, police said.
Domonic Matthew Martinez, 28, was arrested in Salt Lake City at 3300 S. State Street in connection to the robbery, according to the Price City Police Department. Martinez was known as "Canceris" or King-Dom" and considered to be dangerous, according to investigators.
He allegedly robbed the Smith's Food King store located at 1075 E. Main Street in Price at gunpoint before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. The robbery occurred on Nov. 26.
Martinez was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail and will be extradited back to Price where he has been living for the past several months, according to the police. A warrant for Martinez's arrest was issued by the 7th District Court and bail was set at $100,000.
Jennifer Meradee Tryon, who allegedly drove a getaway car for Martinez, was recently arrested after investigators interviewed friends of Martinez. She was booked into the Carbon County Jail.
