WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) - West Jordan police say they've found a 14-year-old girl who was whisked off a week ago by a 19-year-old man she knew through Facebook.

Officer Craig Carroll says Utah police were notified Friday that the girl was located in Fontana, Calif. Carroll says the man accused of picking her up from school last week and driving her out-of-state is also in custody and faces charges including kidnapping.

His name was not immediately available.

Police say it appears the girl went with the young man voluntarily and was unharmed. Carroll says she was in the care of family services officials while they arranged to send her home.

Her family notified police that she was missing on Monday night. Police say efforts to reach her through her phone and Facebook were unsuccessful.
