OGDEN — The Mountain Crest Mustangs beat rival Logan Grizzlies 54-51 in a thrilling finish in the 4A Semifinals.

After three quarters Logan led the game 38-31 and were in control but the Mustangs used a 16-5 run to end the game. Senior guard Eddy Hall's layup gave the Mustangs the lead 52-51 with just under a minute to go.

Taylor Compton had 14 points and Luke Falk added 13 to lead Logan.

Tanner Knowles had a game-high 18 points and Faimafili Lau'pututau had 12 points, five rebounds, and three assists for the Mustangs.

Mountain Crest will face the winner of Sky View and Bountiful for the 4A Championship on Saturday.
