This season, Utah State had a number of phenomenal interceptions; Will Davis getting both feet down in the back of the end zone against Texas State, Kyle Fackrell tipping the ball to himself at BYU, or Davis ending Colby Cameron's 445 completion streak without an interception.

However, the 2 I picked came from the same game and I believe are the best 2 interceptions from the defense this season. In the final game of the season against Idaho, Bojay Filimoeatu made a tremendous one handed pick and returned it inside the Idaho 20; then later in the half, Will Davis broke on a pass to the flat and returned it to the house for 6.

I chose these 2 based on the incredible feat of athleticism both took to pull off and because of when they happened in the game. If you remember the Idaho game, the Aggies' offense was struggling to put drives together; these 2 picks jump started the team. Eventually the Aggies blew out the Vandals and claimed their first WAC championship.

Dave Noriega was kind enough to sit down with me and discuss the 2 plays.

Do you agree?

Tweet me what you think was the best interception of the season @phenommatthewL.
