BOUNTIFUL — A lifetime of Honeycomb cereal? One Utah family was given just that after writing a contest-winning jingle for the cereal.
The family of seven wrote the jingle after seeing the Post Honeycomb Big Jingle contest advertised on the side of a Honeycombs cereal box.
Since they love the cereal, their mother, Lindsey, came up with the idea of entering the contest. Their dad, photographer and editor, also came up with the choreography.
Nine-year-old Anna Bella, came up with the tune, and her father, Lamar Holley, crafted the melody into a 30-second tune. He also came up with the choreography, and recorded and edited the video.
The contest, held on Facebook, closed Oct. 19. Facebook voters all over the country chose the five sisters as the winners of the contest, winning a lifetime supply of the cereal, $5,000 and possibly, a commercial. But the girls aren't stopping there.
"I want to enter more contests because I think we'll have a good chance again," said 11-year-old Phebe Holley.
