SALT LAKE CITY — Buried in laundry. Cooking meals nobody wants to eat. Lost in dirty diapers. Sometimes, that's what being a mother feels like.
After her twins were born, making her a mother of four, Nicole Carpenter was overwhelmed by motherhood and the responsibility of caring for her family. She looked around for support and someone to reach out to, but couldn't find anyone. She decided to create MOMentity, a website for mothers to support one another and, "find joy in motherhood again."
The website is focused on six "Mom Resolutions:"
- I am valuable
- Dreams are real
- Define and protect my roles
- Leverage my time
- Cherish my children
- Everyone needs playdates
The Facebook page launched earlier this week, and the website will launch next week.
