DENVER — Former Utah Ute Andre Miller joined the NBA's top ten list in assists as he helped the Denver Nuggets post a 123-84 win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday.

It was a milestone for Miller and a big win for the Nuggets, who are in a push for a playoff spot as the strike-shortened season nears its end.
Miller came off the bench to dish out a game-high 12 assists, score six points, and grab three rebounds in 28 minutes of play.
The 12 assists that put him into the tenth slot for all-time assists at 7,398.
Miller also sits in 13th this season for assists with 367.
Beginning his NBA career in 1999-2000 with Cleveland, Miller appeared in all 82 games his rookie season with 36 starts, averaging 11.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 5.8 assists.
Miller remained with Cleveland for the next two seasons, starteding every game and averaging 15.8 points per game during the 2000-01 season and 16.5 points per game in 2001-02.
Miller joined the Los Angeles Clippers in 2002-03 where he played all but one game for the Clippers that season before becoming a Nugget.
This is Miller's second stint with the Nuggets during his 12-year NBA career. His first stint lasted from 2003 to the 2006-07 season then going to Philadelphia for three seasons before returning to Denver.
Miller has made appearances in all 57 games this season with six starts for the Nuggets. This season Miller is currently averaging 27.7 minutes, 6.4 assists, and 10.1 points per game.
Miller played his college ball at the University of Utah where he averaged 12.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game in his four years in the Crimson Red.
Miller finished his career at the U. as the school's all-time leader in steals with 254 and second all-time in assists with 721.
