SALT LAKE CITY — KSL-TV announced Monday the addition of Dave McCann to the KSL news team as an anchor and reporter.
McCann has anchored "8 News Now, This Morning" at KLAS-TV in Las Vegas for 19 years and is the play-by-play voice for Brigham Young University football and basketball.
Prior to joining "8 News Now," McCann worked while a student at Brigham Young University as a college reporter for ABC's "Good Morning America."
He is the father of five children, the two oldest of which attend Utah State University.
McCann was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2011. He will join the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. news teams in mid-May.
