COLORADO -- How much do you trust your balance?
How solid is your equilibrium?
Struggle walking on a 2X4 laid flat on the ground? Or are you a master on the gymnastics beam?
I'm closer to the gymnastics beam, but while I can tear it up on my mountain bike, I once crashed a moped.
Not my proudest moment.
That being said I wouldn't trust myself on a motorized dirt bike on top of some snow-covered, skinny mountain ridges.
Nope, not a chance.
But this guy seems like he needed a new challenge. Something more daring (some would argue stupid is the more appropriate word) to get the adrenaline pumping.
Wrestle with tigers? Swim with sharks? Skydive into a tornado? Nah, too weak sauce.
Ridge riding on some snowy mountaintops ought to do it for today.
I mean, what's the worse that could happen, right?
I'd be like the Y-Wing Starfighter pilot in Star Wars, "Stay on target. Stay on target." Until I get blown up and take a header down the mountainside.
Again, it wouldn't be my proudest moment.
But this guy? Nerves of steel.
