Wednesday's quarterfinals

At Weber State University

American Fork 56, Bingham 52 Final

  • American Fork built a 13 point lead in the fourth quarter and then held on for a thrilling quarterfinal victory in a match up of No. 2 vs. No. 3. American Fork knocked down six 3-pointers and finished 14 of 20 from the free throw line, while Bingham struggled from the line (22 of 37) and didn't make a 3-pointer (0 for 15). Quincy Bair led American Fork in the win with 17 points.

Murray 76, Brighton 65 Final

  • Murray's big man David Collette was on a whole different level than anyone else, dropping 33 points and hauling in nine rebounds to push the Spartans to the semifinals.

Fremont45, West 43 Final

  • Fremont hung on for the wild quarterfinal victory despite neither team scoring a point in the final 4:47 of the game. Patrick Fishburn led the way for the Silver Wolves with 19 points and seven rebounds. In the loss Tyrell Corbin scored 22 points on 7 of 17 shooting.

Lone Peak80, West Jordan 63 Final

  • Nick Emery scored a career-high 36 points and had six steals to lead the Knights to a quarterfinal victory. Lone Peak blew the game open in the second quarter by outscoring West Jordan 27-11 and held off a couple of Jaguar rallies in the second half. Jordan Loveridge had 31 points for West Jordan, and Jaxon Knighton had 13 rebounds.
