SALT LAKE CITY -- At practice on Tuesday several Utah Jazz players spoke out about the Carmelo Anthony-to-New York Knicks trade and the likelihood of a trade involving the Jazz.

"Get ‘Melo out of there," professed Jazz point guard Deron Williams. "(We) don't have to deal with him anymore, playing 'Bully' ball."

While the Denver Nuggets pulled off the first major trade of the season, a 13-player trade involving the Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves, all is quiet on the Jazz front, which, as fans and even players have come to expect, is nothing new.

"The Jazz usually do a good job of playing it 'close to the vest,'" said Raja Bell. "So therefore, you stay alert the next couple of days and if something is to 'shake down' then you're ready to do what you gotta do."

"Utah has always been a team that likes to work with its players rather than just move them around," said Andrei Kirilenko, who's been at the center of his fair share of trade rumors. "This year is no exception, so we're working with the players."

This is Tyrone Corbin's first trade deadline as head coach. So far, he says there hasn't been a lot of discussion.

"Kevin (O'Connor) has done a great job managing what's going to happen with trades and stuff," said Corbin confidently. "We're really focused on what's going on, on the floor with the guys we have here; trying to get guys back on the floor. We are who we are until we're not and that's how we approach it."

Trade deadline is 1 p.m. mountain time on Thursday.
