SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Firefighters are hoping to contain a wildfires today in Utah County that's burned for days and has threatened the town of Saratoga Springs.
The Mercer Canyon Fire has burned more than 5,200 acres of forest and grassland. Some power lines have also burned down.
A fire in Spanish Fork Canyon that burned 225 acres was put out yesterday before it could damage any structures.
