(KSL News) Three third-grade boys have taken the stand against their teacher, testifying he sexually abused them.
The children were part of a preliminary hearing against Christopher Burton. Burton faces eight counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child in connection with events prosecutors say took place between August and March.
Prosecutors say that if the boys' testimony isn't enough to take the cases to trial, they have at least 16 more witnesses they can put on the stand to testify to the abuse.
Burton was a teacher at East Elementary School in Tooele.
