A man received serious injuries after he was thrown from the horse was riding on Sunday afternoon. The accident happened at the rodeo grounds in Cedar Fort, according to the Utah County Sheriff's Office.

A 17-year-old boy died Friday after ingesting an illicit substance, possibly LSD, and two of his friends were rushed to the hospital, where they were treated and later released. Farmington police say they are waiting on toxicology reports.
