Illegal is a crime! No punishment for the crime encourages more people to break the law. Rewarding the law breaker (such as amnesty, and state benefits like welfare, etc.) is also wrong.
A law should be passed that forbids a person citizenship for anyone committing a felony in our country. Also anyone committing a misdemeanor should have their chances for citizenship prolonged until they prove themselves worthy.
I do not approve of amnesty, that's a reward they haven't earned.
