Lily Haskins and Alyssa Spackman each scored a second-half goal to help the Thunderbirds shut out East 2-0 and claim their first Class 4A girls soccer state championship in program history Friday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.

BYU-bound Mikayla Colohan scored the game-winning goal midway through the first half to lift the Darts to their third-straight Class 5A girls soccer state title and second-straight undefeated season with a 2-1 victory over Fremont.

Katelyn Allen scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute, and goalkeeper Morgan Green made it stand up as the Silver Wolves (16-1-1) slowly pulled away from the Cavemen, 1-0, to advance to face Davis in the 5A state championship.
