DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Jeb Bush says he'll be in Iowa regularly in the coming months as he seeks the Republican presidential nomination.
The former Florida governor and 2016 hopeful spoke with Iowa Republicans on a telephone town hall meeting Tuesday night. Bush, who was calling from Miami, touted his executive experience, pledging to grow the economy, create jobs and offer a message of optimism for the future.
Bush fielded calls from people who said they lived in different parts of the kickoff caucus state. He repeated his criticism of the Iran nuclear deal, calling it a "horrible deal." He also said the United States must more aggressively deal with terrorism abroad.
Bush was in Iowa two weeks ago, appearing in Sioux City, Ames and Council Bluffs. He is expected back in mid-August.
