SALT LAKE CITY — Much of the talk in the Utah Utes' post-practice interviews has moved towards their rivals up north.

Kyle Whittingham was asked after practice Thursday about the comment that was made at the Utah football facility unveiling from Spence Eccles. Eccles referred to the drive from Logan after the Utes' overtime loss to the Aggies last year being very long coming back to Salt Lake City. To that Coach Whittingham responded, "I laugh until I cry."

It is only one week away until the college football season gets underway here in the state of Utah and it seems the Utes and Aggies are both beyond anxious to get back out on the field and face one another.

On Wednesday, Robert Jackson spoke to the Utes about their No. 1 concern: Aggies quarterback Chuckie Keeton.

It was on to the offense to see how the Utes could try and break through a very tough, talented and experienced Utah State defense.

"They have a lot of guys coming back so they will play with confidence." Dennis Erickson explained. "The secondary is very good, the corners create a lot of problems, and their people up front, their outside linebackers, they are a good, solid defensive football team."

Wide receiver coach Aaron Roderick agreed, "Their secondary is as good as any we will see in the Pac-12."

Dennis Erickson finished his comments saying, "We are a different football team than we were a year ago."
