Editor's note: Because of the graphic nature of the allegations, some of the subject matter may not be suitable for all readers.SALT LAKE CITY — A police report released Friday by the Arizona State University Police Department details allegations of sexual abuse of a minor against Greg Winslow, current head swim coach at the University of Utah.

Winslow was suspended Thursday "pending further investigation" after the allegations were brought to light by Irvin Muchnick of concussioninc.net. At the time, the university said although charges have not been brought against Winslow, the allegations were serious enough to merit immediate action.

Jerry Cobb with the Maricopa County Attorney's office confirmed to ksl.com Friday that the office had received the 97-page police report from Arizona State University police, who recommended Winslow be charged with two counts of sexual abuse. Cobb said his office will make a decision regarding charges within 30 days.

The report alleges Winslow kissed and fondled a 15-year-old girl beginning in 2005 while a coach for the Sun Devils Aquatic Club in Tempe, Arizona. The alleged victim, now 22, decided to go to police after a failed suicide attempt last year, according to the report.

The document, obtained by Yahoo Sports, details a "confrontation" phone call recorded by police on Nov. 18, 2012, during which the alleged victim called Winslow pretending she wanted closure for what had happened. Winslow apologized during the call for kissing the alleged victim and misleading her.

"What about for rubbing my breasts?" the alleged victim asked during the call. Winslow responded that he was "sorry for that, too," according to the report.

Winslow denied in a Dec. 16 interview with police any inappropriate contact with the girl. He said he had only kissed her on her swim cap.

"Never fondled for sure. A hundred percent for sure never fondled," he said, according to the report. He said he had only apologized for more during the phone call so "she could get better."

Arizona State University representatives said Friday the police had conducted an investigation of Winslow on allegations of sexual abuse of a minor that had occurred from mid-2006 to mid-2007. The alleged incidents occurred at ASU facilities, according to the school, but the club that employed Winslow at the time and of which the alleged victim was a member was un affiliated with ASU.

"The victim in the case was a teenager at the time and was not, and has never been, a student at the university," Julie Newberg told ksl.com Friday evening. "We were not aware of the incident until the ASU Police were notified. We fully cooperated with their investigation. The ASU Police contacted the University of Utah Police in the conduct of their investigation. No other contact was made."

University of Utah representatives did not immediately return requests for comment.

Winslow has been investigated in the past for allegations of misconduct, at the University of Utah, but university spokesman Keith Sterling said nothing came to light during an investigation by the university.
