Parade organizers have teamed with Utah Food Bank for the first time to make a meaningful donation to help keep food bank shelves stocked.
Two trucks will be open for donations: one at 600 East 500 South, the other at the Family Festival on Washington Square, 200 East 500 South. Members of the Utah National Guard will be on hand to collect the food. Parade watchers are encouraged to donate, as well.
The Days of '47, Inc. is encouraging all Utah residents to take part in one or all 11 events in celebration of what Utah was during pioneer times and what it is today.
