Sally Johnson was a professional singer in Southern California and loved being on stage. After she got married and started a family, she took 20 years off but stayed connected to the industry. After moving to Utah in 2005, she was ready for a full-time career. When a friend asked Sally to help him find paying jobs for his band, she started making phone calls. Within a couple of months, Sally found seven paid bookings for his band. She loved the work so much, she eventually started Green Light Booking.
Sally officially launched Green Light Booking in 2008. It was during the recession, so competitors were dropping out left and right. Many performers needed work and had heard about Sally's reputation for finding it. They came to Sally, which quickly built a strong talent base for Green Light Booking. The business grew so quickly that her husband quit his job to join the company, which now has four full-time employees and sub contracts out to hundreds of performers. They come from all over the world and are reaping the benefits of their relationship with this Utah-based business.
Green Light Booking contracts high-level music, dance and variety entertainment for corporate events, fairs, festivals, weddings and performing arts centers. When top-tier entertainment is needed, chances are high that Sally and her staff can find the perfect act.
