This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

When looking to expand or change employment, it's important to start building your network, to cast your net out as far and wide as you can. It's powerful to have more people involved with the process. So a company like Prince Perelson can help because that's what they do.

Owner Jill Perelson says they offer permanent placement in areas including finance and accounting, engineering, creative or marketing, sales, information technology, human resources and administrative. To stay as competitive as possible, the team at Prince Perelson mirrors the needs of businesses. Part of the beauty of having eight different practice areas is how they're all collaborative and synergistic with each other. This improves the effectiveness of the placement process.

Prince Perelson does a lot of direct sourcing and calls into companies to identify talent. Then they talk to their contacts about a potential career opportunity and go to work to match the candidate with the position. They're good at finding both temporary and permanent placements, everything from working for a day all the way up to placing a CEO or senior executive team member. They continue to follow people's careers to make sure the placement is the right fit and in case new opportunities come up.

Jill says Prince Perelson is best known for their volume of placements and the boutique feel of the organization. They set themselves apart by being a locally-owned company focused on the Utah market, and that's led them to create long-lasting relationships with companies and talent as a full service recruiting and placement agency.

They also have a separate division which offers executive placements. Many companies use this operation because Prince Perelson understands the importance of culture and fit. This all comes from their relationships with local companies. It means the most qualified people can be matched with the situation that's right for them, creating the most likely chance for the placement to be a success.

Prince Perelson now has around 30 employees and offers a self-driven employment experience, one reason why they experienced 25 percent growth last year alone.
