This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

If you're thinking about retirement, here is one way to do it in style: the Abbington Senior Community in Heber City, which can serve up to 73 residents. In talking to owner/operator Rick Walker, he said this facility was three years in the making. The design has been thoughtful and meticulous, in figuring out how to best serve their customer base.

At the Abbington Senior Community, they have gathering rooms for when residents have guests, a theater room to watch movies on a big-screen TV, as well as church services, a hair salon and scheduled transportation for medical appointments or trips to the store. There's also a Registered Nurse on board. When the grandkids come to visit, there's a bistro with ice cream and tasty snacks. Abbington Senior Community also has computers with Internet access for residents to use and a beautiful fully-designed to prepare food if residents feel like cooking.

The Abbington Senior Community has also taken an innovative approach to safety. Not only is there a nurse call system, residents can receive a pendant with sensors that can sense elevation changes and will automatically alert staff in case of a fall.

Rick has been in the senior care business for a long time. After being involved with 11 to 12 centers around the state, he and his team cover independent living, assisted living and memory care. They're always looking at design and features to make buildings aesthetically pleasing and better serve residents' needs. At The Abbington Senior Community, they're motivated by the mission of adding to their residents' lives.

They have important initiatives in place implementing activities to involve the residents. The Abbington has a program where they bring elementary students in and residents read with them, and the kids love it. Rick says a key to their success at The Abbington Senior Community are employees who love the residents and they enjoy what they do.

As a community-focused organization, Zions Bank has been providing value to the communities in which we live and serve for over 140 years. Member FDIC.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
