This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

At age 16, Sean Hogan's father showed him how to paint and sand a car. What his dad didn't know was that he introduced Sean to what would become his new profession, as the founder of Everest Collision Repair, in partnership with Jamie Cox. Everest has become one of the best known collision repair facilities on the Wasatch Front.

Everest Collision Repair launched four years ago and has grown so fast, they now have four locations with further expansion on the horizon. By the end of this year, Sean says they'll have 50 employees and will hit gross sales of $6 million.

Jamie and Sean have built a strong partnership working together. Because of their complementary skill sets, they created Everest Collision Repair to be more technologically advanced than most body shops. Jamie says it's customer-focused and process driven, which creates a more consistent and high-quality end product which builds customer loyalty and satisfaction. It's also a reason they formed strategic partnerships with parts and insurance companies.

Plus, there's consistency with the staff, since many of them being seasoned Everest veterans. They offer competitive pay and benefits. The newest employees are also sent out to work with established techs to learn all the processes, and there are opportunities for growth within. Many Everest Collision Repair techs are also ASC and ICAR certified. They've also optimized their website, so it's a top result on search engines.

Before opening Everest Collision Repair, Sean spent years working for other auto shops, collecting ideas for what his own operation would look like. He and Jamie took these ideas and used them to open their first Everest Collision Repair four years ago.

Sean says Everest Collision Repair is the only body in the state that has a smart phone app. There's no charge to download, and customers can use it to get an estimate on fixing damage without coming in. You can also rent cars from Hertz in the app. Everest Collision Repair has established with a culture of innovation, creating a system and process they say is an industry changer.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
