This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

The market for global business to consumer ecommerce is expected to hit $1.5 trillion this year, an increase of over 20 percent from the year before, according to emarketer.com. That's great news for Carrie Clark of Doors of Home, which operates solely in the cloud.

On this comprehensive website, doorsofhome.com, you'll find thousands of high-quality home décor products available for purchase, many changing weekly. There's also a link for Hot Buys that change every two days.

Doors of Home offers what Carrie refers to as "box sets" which include five or 10 items you can use to decorate a space in your home. A small set, for example, might be lamp, throw and small accessories like florals. A medium set might include two lamps, bedding and more. Finally, a full set would be everything that goes together in one room, a truly designer look using complementary products like what a designer would choose if hired to create a room in someone's home. The advantage to this approach is to offer anybody professionally-designed sets at a much more affordable price point.

Carrie is a naturally creative person, so it was fitting for her to get a fine arts degree. She says she's always been driven by the part of her that wants to create. She's used this inclination to spend the last 18 years creating living spaces for customers as an interior designer, the last nine in Utah. She developed her first company as a complement to her design business, with a focus on staging real estate homes. However, clients kept coming to her for help in putting furnishings together along with choosing just the right colors and sets. So, she thought, why not offer the design in a package for customers? This became the basis for Doors of Home.

You can check out Doors of Home online at doorsofhome.com. In addition to the site, Carrie has a blog, where you can find design tips plus YouTube videos that use products offered on the site.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
