This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

Your hands are critical to your everyday life. Think about all the things your hands help you every day, from tying your shoelace to driving a car, to working a keyboard. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to think of any activity that doesn't involve your hands. It's why Margo Brady and Steve Crandall, owners of Hand and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialists, are staying so busy.

Hand and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialists is an outpatient physical therapy practice that can help with every joint in your body, but one of their specialties is hand therapy. The hand contains 29 major and minor bones, 29 major joints and has at least 123 named ligaments, not to mention 48 nerves. Just to move your thumb takes up to 34 muscles. So, that's why taking care of the hand is such specialized work, work the Certified Hand Therapists at Hand and Orthopedic Rehab Specialists do every day.

What you'll find here are licensed physical and occupational therapists that provide services for anybody who has lost function in joints in the body and are looking for improvement. One point that sets the Hand and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialists team apart is the degree of manual therapy skills that each of the therapists possess, helping cultivate additional mobility and movement for the hand, shoulder, knee or back.

Co-owners Margo and Steve believe in the power of expertise, achieved through specialization. In fact, many of their therapists have obtained the highest level of certification in their profession, with six certified in hand therapy and six others certified as Orthopedic Clinical Specialists.

While hands are one area of expertise, the practice treats all joints of the body. And their client base is expanding. Over the last 36 years of practice, Hand and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialists has expanded to include clinic locations in Draper, Murray, Salt Lake City, Bountiful and Park City.

As a community-focused organization, Zions Bank has been providing value to the communities in which we live and serve for over 140 years. Member FDIC.
