This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

The summer vacation season is on the horizon, and if you're looking for something close to home, listen up. Hotel Park City may present exactly the opportunity you're looking for. General Manager Ryan Overton says Hotel Park City is designed to provide a boutique experience. For the upcoming travel season, they have several packages designed specifically with locals in mind.

Ryan is excited about how things are moving forward in Park City with good energy and the feeling that business in the city is strong. Hotel Park City is an important contributor to the city's thriving resort business. Each of the 100 suites features a cozy fireplace, king-size beds, jetted tubs and a private balcony or patio with gorgeous views. One of the great things about the hotel is that all of their rooms face to the southeast, so every room has a view of the mountain, pool or golf course.

In addition to luxurious accommodations, they also have The Spa at Park City Hotel, which Ryan says is top-of-the-line. The 10,000 square foot facility includes seven treatment rooms, as well as a full workout center with cardio equipment, free weights and daily Yoga, Pilates and Zumba classes, as well as swimming in summer. They also have a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on property.

Their clientele comes from all over. In the winter, up to 95 percent of their guests are from outside of Utah while in the summer it's about 50/50. Don't worry — they save the best deals for their local audience. These packages include dinner, spa and golf options. This is so locals can see why Hotel Park City is ranked No. 1 on TripAdvisor and received the AAA Four Diamond ranking, which only 5.3 percent of the over 29,000 AAA-approved hotels receive.

Ryan likes to bring in music groups as a way for these bands to get in front of potential new fans and for the hotel to give its guests some quality entertainment. He is working hard to make Hotel Park City a destination for anyone.
