This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

Bonneville Machine creates extraordinary works of art weighing around 2,000 pounds or more. That's exactly what comes to mind when you see what this dynamic company has the capacity to produce, for clients like Kennecott, ATK and Novatek.

This seasoned group of experienced machinists is operating some of the latest machines available using intricate industrial CNC tool machines to rebuild complex equipment. The overall benefit is to provide additional life to a company's machines, making it more affordable for the businesses they serve to operate.

The dedication Bonneville Machine has to their employees and customers is apparent in the fact they sent all their employees to training to keep them up to date on the latest machining techniques. Companies like Bonneville are one of the reasons Utah has the eighth most educated workforce, and we're the second most competitive state.

I spoke with Igor Maksymiw (max-ih-mew) a few months back and heard his excitement about the newest machinery made in the U.S.A. his company just purchased. He told me I just had to see it in person, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I did. Bonneville Machine had to clear out an area 40 feet wide, 60 feet long and 10 feet deep just to fit it!

Both the floor and the walls had to be three feet thicker to withstand the weight of this machine. It's taken a year to train everyone to perfection on this amazing piece of equipment.

To give you an idea of the capacity of this giant machine, it can work on anything that's 30 feet long, 12 feet wide and 12 feet high. When they brought it in they had to run new voltage and power to accommodate this beast. Imagine working on a greyhound bus!

This is a solid company to work for. They have top-notch professionals like General Manager Larry Dinkel on board, who has 37 years of experience as well as many others with 30 years or more. This tenure is making all the difference when constructing incredible steel components.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
