Jesse Sindelar headed in a goal with three minutes left in overtime giving Waterford a 2-1 win over Rowland Hall for the 2A boys state soccer title.

The Ravens took an early lead when Sean Keough scored in the 13th minute.

Rowland Hall defender Enzo Wiener scored the equalizer with five minutes remaining which led to extra time and set the stage for Sindelar’s golden goal.

It was Waterford’s third victory this season over Rowland Hall and the Ravens finished the season with a 16-2 record.

It marks Waterford’s fifth boys state soccer championship and first since winning back-to-back titles in 2010 and 2011.
