SALT LAKE CITY — They say records are meant to be broken. Many thought this one would never be touched. Friday night, Duchesne High School, with a win, will set a state record for consecutive wins for a Utah high school football team at 37.
The Eagles are tied with Timpview at 36. The T-Birds ran off 36 straight wins from 2006-2009. To break the record, Duchesne will have to do it on the road at 3A's Carbon High School. Their opponent, the Dino's, are 0-2 to start the season.
