Crews bring Herriman brush fire under control

HERRIMAN — Crews brought a brush fire under control in Herriman Monday morning.

About 20 firefighters responded to the fire near 14000 South and Shaggy Mountain Road, which is about 7800 West.

Battalion Chief Brian Anderton from Unified Fire Authority said the fire burned about two acres before it was brought under control.

There was no damage to homes in the area and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
