The Tooele Valley 15th Annual Master Gardener Tour is here and a portion of the proceeds go to the Larry Sagers Master Gardeners Endowment fund! The tour takes place June 15, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Tooele Valley Nursery. You can go here for more information.
If you just want to donate to the fund, anyone can donate any amount and you can be the next donor! Visit the USU Website
Because this is a new fund you will not see the "Larry Sagers Master Gardener Endowment Fund" listed under the "I would like to support" tab. Follow these steps instead...
1-Select "other"
2-In the Please Specify box type "Larry Sagers Master Gardener Endowment Fund"
3-Select what type of gift you'd like to give
4-Select amount
5-Submit by clicking "Add Gift"!
And your done! After doing this you will get a gift receipt within two weeks of making your contribution, as acknowledgment of your gift.
Larry wanted this scholarship for people who are in need of learning Master Gardener skills, but may not be able to afford it. The primary recipients of the scholarship will be those who already work in the industry, and those who are willing to teach these concepts to others after taking the classes. USU will select the beneficiaries.
It is a self sustaining scholarship so once the minimum corpus is achieved it will continue to gain interest. Please donate today!
