In an exciting wieghoff that saw the Utah State Record broken four times by 3 different growers, the pumpkin that finally came out on top belonged to grower Matt McConkie. Grown from the 1421 Stelts seed, the pumpkin broke the 1169 pound state record set last year by Matt by a whopping 431 pounds. In addition, Matt's 2nd largest pumpkin came in at 1338, also breaking the state record and making it the 2nd largest pumpkin ever grown in Utah. Congratulations to Matt on an amazing year and some mighty impressive pumpkins.
