ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta Hawks forwards DeMarre Carroll and Mike Scott are sitting out against the Utah Jazz because of injuries.
Carroll, a six-year veteran in his second season as a Hawks starter, missed Wednesday night's game due to a groin strain. Scott, a second-year reserve, is sidelined by a bruised lower back.
Thabo Sefolosha is starting in place of Carroll.
Carroll and Scott have combined to average 19.7 points in Atlanta's first six games.
