The 179th Semi-annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be carried "live" on KSL Television Channel 5, and KSL Newsradio 102.7 FM & 1160 AM on Oct 3-4, 2009. KSL Radio will re-broadcast the conference at 12:00am on Sunday and Monday morning.

Plane full of supplies on its way to Samoa from Salt Lake

In an effort to bring aid to those devastated by a tsunami, a plane full of food, clothing, and medical supplies will head to Samoa.
