Jamaal Williams broke Eldon Fortie’s 54-year-old single-game rushing record at BYU, and the Cougars (2-3) handed high-scoring Toledo its first loss of the season in front of just over 62,000 fans Friday night at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
The Thunder (5-1, 2-0 3AA South) face rival Dixie (3-3, 2-0) in a game that will go a long way toward deciding the region title Friday at 7 p.m. MT in the KSL Game of the Week. The game will be streamed live on ksl.com, with a half-hour pregame show.
This week's schedule gets underway with two Friday night matchups: Washington vs. Stanford and BYU vs. Toledo.
