PROVO, Utah (December 12, 2006) -- BYU head football coach Bronco Mendenhall today announced junior defensive back Tico Pringle has been suspended from the team due to a violation of team rules. Pringle, a transfer from Snow Junior College, saw limited action at cornerback and played in nine of 12 games on special teams. He was credited with two tackles.

Pringle will neither practice nor travel with the team to Las Vegas for the bowl game.
