(KSL News) Weber State University is about to play one its biggest football games in history, but it will do so without one of its star players.

The school suspended star receiver and kick returner Bryant Eteuati from the team indefinitely after he was arrested on several outstanding felony warrants.

The Standard-Examiner reports Eteuati was picked up Wednesday during a traffic stop in Ogden when he failed to pull over for an emergency vehicle. He was wanted on several charges including:

  • aggravated assault stemming from a fight in 2006
  • communications fraud stemming from accusations he gave merchandise to friends while working at a clothing store.

WSU takes on Northern Arizona University today. Both teams are 4-0 in the Big Sky Conference.
