"We played hard all four quarters, but Grand Valley is a good team and they kept coming back at us. I was glad for our big lead," explained Westminster assistant coach David Long, who was leading the Griffins' so Mason Goodhand could attend his sons' college graduation.

Roman Schoewe tallied six goals for the Griffins on his way to being named the Player of the Game. He was also named to the All-Tournament team.
