SOUTH JORDAN — It's rivalry week between BYU and the University of Utah, and until kickoff all is fair when it comes to office pranks.

The Utes' mascot Swoop and some Utah Cheerleaders made their presence known Wednesday at the offices of Lendio in South Jordan.

The company's CEO, Brock Blake, swears most of his employees bleed blue. But there are a few — what he calls "Utah troublemakers" — who keep the rivalry going year after year.

Last year it was a herd of goats let loose on a mini BYU football field inside the office building. This year Swoop took out a cardboard cutout of BYU mascot Cosmo with a paint ball gun.

"You're never entirely surprised, 'cause with rivalry week anything can happen, and you're just always on your toes," Blake said.

Employees on both sides of the rivalry can expect some retaliation as the week goes on.
