BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) — Colton Weisbrod scored 20 points to lead five scorers in double figures as Lamar trounced Division III Austin College 109-58 on Saturday to stop a three-game losing skid.

Cameron McGee and Zjori Bosha had 14 points apiece, Nick Garth added 13 and Joey Frenchwood chipped in 11 as 11 Cardinals got on the scoreboard. Lamar (5-4) has scored 90 or more twice this season but this was its first time over 100. The Cardinals last eclipsed the century mark when they scored 101 against the Kangaroos last year.

It was also the first time they won by more than 50 since beating Champion Baptist 128-54 November 15, 2014.

Lamar trailed early but took control midway through the first half and dominated from then on, taking a 55-28 lead into the break.

Austin led 12-6 before the Cardinals got rolling.

Brian Baehl led Austin with 11 points.
